Group travel can be fun. There will be lots of giggling and excitement in anticipation of what is to come. It makes me smile thinking about it.Getting to the U.S. Virgin Islands will involve an overnight stay on both sides of the trip. We will travel together to Ft. Lauderdale where we will stay overnight and then fly to St. Thomas on Spirit Airlines the following day. From there, we will all take the ferry to St. John.
If you haven't already done so, now might be a good time to get your Adventurer's passport. Minors must apply in person and all pertinent information can be found at the U.S. State Department Web site. It's a pretty painless and easy process, but one that you don't want to wait until the last minute to take care of.
